A woman with an immeasurable amount of faith in God, class, style, positive energy & love who always believed in me and saw my capabilities. "I dedicate this business and everything creative I do to my grandmother Eunice Brown. Our mission is to provide the most innovative, fashionable, functional head wraps and hair accessories with love and excellence. Perfect Pineapple® is the fruit of that promise. She made Charron promise that she would build a family business that would leave a legacy. Charron was able to tell Eunice about the show, although by that time she was unresponsive, but Charron knew in her heart Eunice had heard her.Ībout a month before Eunice passed away, she made Charron make her a promise. Heartbreakingly Eunice died Sone day after Perfect Pineapple's debuted on the runway of a local fashion show. She helped Charron think through parts of the business as she was a creative spirit herself but was not able to continue to help due to her illness. So she did, and started the business, on her grandmother's sewing machine in her grandmother's basement.Įunice, Charron's grandmother wore the wraps from time to time as she suffered from cancer. She told her grandmother about the idea and her grandmother encouraged her to go for it. After tons of inquires about where she had gotten her wraps from she decided to start selling them. Grabbing some nice printed fabric she recreated the scarf and started wearing them not only as a protective style solution, and a way to preserve her curls based on the "pineapple'ing" methodology but also as a fashion accessory. Charron would wrap it and wear it to bed every day for years until one day she wrapped it around her head in a way that created a cool look. The wraps came about from a scarf that her grandmother Eunice gave her that knotted up and she could never untie. Perfect Pineapple® wraps are pre-sewn head wraps that were created by CEO Charron Martin in her grandmother's basement.
